Having a lot of pimples can make you feel like the ugliest girl in the world. You’d be anxious to face people (specifically those with good skin!) and sometimes, you won’t go out of the house for weeks! It’s terrible, and we’ve all experienced that, too, so you’re not alone. Now what should you do to banish those pesky zits? We have listed seven tips to help you get the clear skin you so desire!
1. Don’t pop your zits!
Popping your zits will only worsen their condition. The dirt on your fingers contains bacteria that may enter the skin and cause infection. Moreover, popping can also lead to scars that last longer than pimples. Now hands off that angry red bump!
2. Lessen your sugar intake.
Eating too much sugar can trigger acne and cause inflammation. Cut down on eating chocolates, cakes, and other sweets to avoid getting those annoying zits on your face. It’s a huge sacrifice, but hey, it’s for your (and your skin’s) own good.
3. Get enough sleep.
Like you, your skin also gets tired! Remember, when you get enough sleep every night, you’ll wake up with healthy and vibrant skin! Plus, sleep reduces stress, which is one of the factors that cause acne. So if you sleep for 6 to 8 hours nightly, chances are, the occurrence of these pimples would be less!
4. Change your pillowcases regularly.
Your pillowcase absorbs dirt and oil from your face, so it’s a must that you change it regularly.
5. Drink water with lemon.
Yup, that’s right! Water flushes out the toxins in our body and helps hydrate our skin, while lemon has Vitamin C that helps dry pimples and reduce redness. Combine water and lemon together and you get a fresh and radiant complexion!
6. Wash your face with an anti-acne facial foam.
It’s important to cleanse your face at the end of the day—especially if you have pimples—to get rid of the oil and dirt that accumulated on your skin. Use an anti-acne facial foam with active Thymo-T essence that targets to eliminate bacteria on your skin, preventing those pimples from forming. A facial foam with salicylic formula that effectively cleans your face from dirt and other impurities can also help in getting rid of this skin problem.
7. Apply clearing gel on your zits.
Doing so will speed up the drying and healing process of your acne. We advise you to pick a pimple clearing gel that goes deep into the skin to eliminate the zits at the source.
